What are these ingredients?
Base oils: These are the oils that form the bulk of the soap. They are mixed with lye (sodium hydroxide) and become soap through the process of saponification.
Sodium hydroxide (NaOH): Sodium hydroxide, also known as caustic soda or lye, is the alkaline component of the saponification process. It is neutralised as it combines with the oils to form soap.
Sodium lactate: A natural byproduct of fermenting vegetable sugars, sodium lactate hardens soap and helps it to come loose from the mould. It also acts as a natural preservative and lengthens the shelf life of each bar.
Fragrances: I use both essential oils and synthetic fragrances in my soaps. These are what give the soaps their delicious scents.
Colours: I use a combination of liquid and powder skin-safe cosmetic-grade pigments, including oxides and micas.

Care Instructions
Store soap somewhere cool and dry until you are ready to use it.
Allowing the soap to dry between uses will extend its shelf life.
